Class 3 Assignment #5 - Rocket World Actions

a) Text chat

Here I have opened up the text chat window.  I have typed in a simple sentence for "saying" to the surrounding avatars.  This skill was performed in Rocket World.

b) Local chat

Here I have opened up the Local Chat window showing the entirety of the conversation that has taken place.  You can see chat from a number of other users here.  This skill was performed in Rocket World.

c) Opening a web page via local chat

Here I have entered a link "http://www.cnn.com" and you can see it in the local chat window.  I was then able to click on that link and open up the browser in Snowglobe and could go to that page if I wanted to.  This skill was performed in Rocket World.

d) Changing your field of view / perspective / camera position

Here I have a couple examples.  The first shows me zooming out, essentially moving the camera far behind my avatar.  The second shows me "entering" my avatar such that the camera position is through the eyes of my avatar -- a 1st person perspective.  This skill was performed in Rocket World.

e) Looking around by clicking and holding down on your avatar's back.

You can see that by clicking on my avatar's back, I can keep my avatar in view and look up and down at the same time.  Here you can see I am attempting to fry my retinas my looking directly at the sun.  This skill was performed in Rocket World.

f) Flying up/down and around

There are 2 images here.  The first is me flying up.  The second is me "falling" or flying down, as it were.  I would have tried taking a screenshot of me doing my superman impression, but it wouldn't work for me.  This skill was performed in Rocket World.

g) Changing size of the minimap (zooming to make it larger)

Here you can see I've done 2 things with one SS.  I've made the physical size of the mini map window larger.  Also, I've zoomed in, such that the buildings have gotten larger.  This skill was performed in Rocket World.

h) Making friends

In the first image I am requesting Chris's friendship.  In the second, we see his acceptance of my request.  This skill was performed in Rocket World.

i) Teleporting a friend to where you are (try just 1 friend at a time!)

Below you can see me initiate the teleportation sequence.  This is my Scotty impression.  This skill was performed in Rocket World.
