So I watched the video on terra forming and was really excited to try it out.

So here I am on the moon and I've got my terrain menu open and I'm trying to flatten the land

That doesn't work.  In fact I couldn't get any terra forming to work, no raising, lowering, roughening, etc.

Then I checked the moon's properties and discovered that people other than the owner of the land cannot edit the terrain:

I can only assumed that since this is the case, had I the permission to do so, I would have been able to edit the terrain in many of the ways that were indicated in the second life tutorial.  All in all, I'm disappointed I couldn't play God here.
